Overview and Interactive Map
November is Native American Heritage Month. This is a time in which we honor the culture, fortitude, & incredible contributions that Native Americans have made to our nation & the world. It is also a necessary opportunity to raise awareness about the distinct challenges that Native Americans have faced.
We have a responsibility to stay properly informed of Native American history. This month, we have a chance to provide more robust and accurate educational experiences about this community and make space for crucial dialogue on how we can all stand in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples.
Each of us can make a commitment to doing the very important work of being civically engaged, elevating and centering Indigenous voices, and supporting their efforts in the fight to end oppression. We encourage everyone to visit this interactive map that shows tribal lands across the globe!
We wish everyone a celebratory and educational Native American Heritage Month!
Free School Pictures!
Makeup school pictures can be taken on Monday, November 14th. We are excited to share that all school pictures are free to families this year! Due to our new partnership with Content Collaborate, they have agreed to provide free digital copies of all photos to families at no cost! Please arrive in normal DPAC uniform for school pictures.
All DPAC families and friends are welcome to join in the DPAC Potluck Thanksgiving. Special thanks to SLA, our new food service provider who is partnering with us to create this year’s menu! If you are interested in attending please RSVP HERE. We are excited to share in this amazing annual tradition with you all! DPAC will provide the food, but families will be asked to provide desserts, drinks, plates, etc. based on grade level. Please RSVP for this event so we can ensure to provide enough food for all!
