Before and After School Care

Before and After School Care registration is complete. Thank you for your interest in the 21st Century Community Learning Center program at DPAC! Detailed information regarding the programs are below. If you were not able to make it into the program, please consider one of these other community options for your before and after school care needs:

  • Doolittle Community Center: Located directly across the street from DPAC, program cost is $20 per month and you register directly through their front desk. 702-229-6374 Doolittle and DPAC staff coordinate to walk scholars from DPAC over to Doolittle after school.
  • Boys and Girls Club: Located on MLK, they arrange transportation for scholars registered from DPAC. Prices vary and you can register online or in person at the club.
Before School Care Information: Morning Homework Club
Before school care operates from 6:15am-7:15am every school day.  The South Gate remains open from 6:15-6:30 for arrival. Scholars are required to wear masks, present a Covid-19 screening form signed by a parent, and receive a temperature check.  We will all also wash hands upon arrival.  This time is primarily to allow scholars homework support.

After School Care Information: Clubs and Enrichment Opportunities
After school care serves most school days and operates until 5:00pm (though this time will change to 5:30pm on Wednesday August 18th. The full calendar is available on your master DPAC calendar. Pickup will occur from the cafeteria, parent, guardian, or other approved individuals will physically sign out their scholar(s) from the cafeteria. The South Gate will open 5 minutes prior to pickup.

DPAC has received a 21st Century Community Learning Center federal grant which allows us to provide this amazing enrichment opportunity for scholars. However we are only able to provide on-campus care for up to 100 scholars. The program is first come, first serve. If you are unable to join the on-campus care you can still register for available community programs through Doolittle Community Center or the Boys and Girls Club options outlined above.

If you have questions please contact the 21st Century Community Learning Center Site Coordinator, Jeremy Wells. 702.308.2923. Thank you for your interest in the DPAC before and after school care!
