DPAC Family Update for the Week Ending September 17

Posted on Friday / September 17
Happy Friday, DPAC Family!
Keeping Our Campus Healthy
As we continue to strictly enforce proper mask wearing and increased hygiene, it is with the help of our staff, scholars, and families that we are seeing reduced numbers of active cases of COVID-19 on campus and lower numbers of scholars and staff requiring isolation. Please remember that if your scholar is not feeling well, displaying any COVID-19-related symptoms, or has been tested and is awaiting results, please keep them at home. Only scholars that are symptom free and fever-free for a period of 24 hours without the aid of medication should come to campus. Stay home if you are not well!
Vaccination Clinic Today!
In addition to these measures, the an important aspect of stopping the spread of COVID-19 is the opportunity for anyone that is eligible to get vaccinated. Today at 5:00 PM, the Boys & Girls Club will be hosting a vaccination clinic. No appointment is necessary. No insurance is required. The clinic is open to the public at their Agassi Club at 800 North MLK club.
Safety During Morning Arrival
We start every school day by bringing scholars on campus as quickly and as safely as possible. If you are arriving by automobile, please remember to pull to the curb to let your scholar exit before stopping your vehicle on Lake Mead or J Street. This will help the flow of traffic along these streets, into, and through the South Parking Lot, minimizing the start and stop traffic.
